COE-led initiative joins BrigadaEskwela

An environment that is clean, smells great, and feels great will surely hype any students for studying. According to Jeffrey Campbell, author of Cleanliness and Learning in Higher Education, cleanliness ranked as the fourth most important building element to impact the students’ personal learning.

With that, SDCA annually extends its hand to a school who needs an extra one in providing clean, fresh, and comfortable study zones for the upcoming new school year. This is why SDCA joined “BrigadaEskwela”, the yearly initiative to clean up public schools all over the country.

This year, our college visited Emiliano TriaTirano Memorial High School. COE Officer Ronald Tomines and DSAS Director Jonathan Velustria Sta. Anawiped windows, swept floors, and did all sorts of cleaning along with officers from the Central Student College Council, SASE department professors, and admin personnel.

The cleaners gave cleaning materials to the school, both as gifts and to make sure that the classrooms will remain as they left it.
