Dominican MedTechs have garnered international medical laboratory certification given by the ASCP Board of Certification and the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists.

Indeed, the School of Health and Science Professionals of SDCA caters to excellence in producing world-class and top-performing scholars in medical technology. This international certification has proved that Filipino MedTechs are not just MedTechs, but in fact, are globally competitive, equipped with proficiency and superiority in the said field. The gateway to the international setting has already been established, and St. Dominic College of Asia is well-prepared and capable of delivering professionals to the next level.

MedTech students are working hard for the future, and together with this hard work is the whole faculty of SHSP, including the dean—Dr. Joel G. Matamis. They stated, “I have always believed that the most important reason why there are so many successes and achievements in examinations, be it local or international, is the “excellent preparation/s” we have been providing from the very first day.”

St. Dominic College of Asia Radiologic Technology Department produced 8 newly Registered Radiologic Technologists (RRTs) with the above-national passing rate in the December 2021 Radiologic Technologists Licensure Examination (RTLE).

SDCA School of Health and Science Professions (SHSP) produces world-class healthcare professionals with successful licensure examination passers. Adding to the long list of Dominican healthcare professionals are the RRTs who recently passed the RTLE. They are,

Yuri Jangao Kaga, RRT

Kristine Joy Gador, RRT

Joanna Marie Villapañe Fernandez, RRT

Davr Gillo Tomas, RRT

Franchesca Louise Lucero Audije, RRT

Josh Aron Abad Buhain, RRT

Junea Aquino Badidles, RRT

Jassen Keith Mejia, RRT

Upholding quality of education, the Radiologic Technology department, as well as the other medical programs of SDCA, the SHSP Dean Dr. Joel G. Matamis said, "Undoubtedly, the faculty members, who are also RTLE topnotchers, and the excellent teaching-learning process are the biggest contributory factors why the Radiologic Technology Program consistently obtain the above-national passing rate in the licensure examinations. Our students are prepared to surpass all the challenges and eventually pass the licensure examination."

All three graduates from St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) recently passed the January 2022 Licensure Exam for Teachers, with SDCA having a 100% passing rate once again.

In the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), which was conducted last January 2022, the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines announced that 8,737 elementary teachers out of 15,696 examinees (55.66%) and 12,074 secondary teachers out of 22,454 examinees (53.77%) successfully passed the LET.

All the Dominican takers became Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs) after the January 2022 exam, namely Krisha Camille T. Alvarado, LPT, Athena Jann R. Matito, LPT, and John Kenneth P. Bautista, LPT. Dr. Philip C. Cuizon, Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education, is exceptionally proud of this feat. "I have no doubt with our SASE students that they will make it in their professional careers." He adds, "Here at SASE, we provide them with the best education that prepares them for life ahead of them as Dominican professional teachers, psychologists and psychometricians, and communication leaders."

SDCA has again proven that its education is revolutionizing by pursuing, training, and helping its learners prepare to become competent and successful professionals.
