In March 2023, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results of the Medical Technology Licensure Exam, and 24 newly registered medical technologists emerged as passers with an above national passing rate. These individuals have demonstrated their knowledge and expertise in the field of medical technology, and they are now ready to contribute to the healthcare industry in the Philippines.

Now that they have passed the licensure exam, these medical technologists are poised to contribute to the healthcare industry in the Philippines. They can work in hospitals, clinics, research laboratories, and other healthcare facilities, providing essential services that are critical to patient care. They can perform laboratory tests, analyze samples, and interpret results that are vital to diagnosing and treating illnesses.

The 24 newly registered medical technologists are not only a testament to their own hard work and dedication, but they are also a testament to the quality of education provided by St. Dominic College of Asia to bring out the best in them.
Bacoor City Philippines – St. Dominic College of Asia opened its doors to students around Cavite for its annual Open Campus 2023. Almost a thousand Senior High School students from San Nicholas School, SHS within Bacoor Elementary School, St. Mary Magdalene School, Christian Values School, St. Matthew Academy, St. Michael’s Institute, and walk-in students attended the event on February 17, 2023.

Assisted by Dominican ushers and usherettes, the tour began in the GD II hallway, where students left vibrant handprints on the school’s Color Wall.

The participating students visited SDCA’s five schools: School of Arts, Sciences and Education (SASE), School of Business and Computer Studies (SBCS), School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management (SIHTM), School of Medical Laboratory Science (SMLS) and School of Nursing Allied Health Studies (SNAHS). During the tour, each school presented their cutting-edge facilities and various activities related to their program offerings. The school representatives ensured that everything within their respective schools was covered, including the information about their programs, accomplishments, and curricular and extracurricular activities in their respective schools and programs. It was made certain that the students would be able to experience the life of a student for a day at SDCA.

SDCA was a hub of activity that day, allowing students to experience the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of the school. Furthermore, the interactive experience provided the students with a better understanding of what SDCA offers, helping them make an informed decision about which program to choose.

The SDCA Open Campus 2023 event was spearheaded by the Corporate Communications for Marketing Department together with the Department of Administrative Support Services, the Central College Student Council (CCSC), Student Leaders, Department of Student Affairs and Services (DSAS) and the Academic Department.
St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the AFP Educational Benefit System (AFPEBS) in Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, January 26, 2023.
