Application Requirements for Senior High School applicants:
1. National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) result.
2. Photocopy of completed Grade 9 report card (S.Y. 2014-2015).
3. Photocopy of completed Grade 10 report card (S.Y. 2014-2015).
(for early birds, photocopy of Grade 10 report card for 1st grading period)
4. 3 recent I.D. pictures (2" x 2") white background.
5. Photocopy of Birth Certificate (NSO Copy).
Application Procedure for Senior High School Applicants:
1. Get the application form from the admissions office.
2. Accomplish the Application for Admission Form.
3. Pay for the examination fee at the cashier.
4. Present O.R. and fully accomplished Application Form to the Admissions Office to claim entrance exam permit.
5. Proceed to the Guidance Office and get the exam schedule and room assignment.
6. Take the exam on the date and time given. Same day result.
7. After the examination proceed to the admissions and submit the requirements.
8. Interview with the Dean/Representative.
9. Proceed to the Finance Office.
10. If enrolled, procedd to the registrar’s office for registration (C.O.E.).

A. APPLICATION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURES
To qualify for admission to any master’s degree program the applicant must have:
1. A bachelor’s degree;
2. An undergraduate GPA of 80% or 2.5 in the academic subjects from the undergraduate degree;
3. Passing score in the Graduate Admission test, English Proficiency Tests and interviewed by the respective Dean/Department Chair. The Graduate School administers the GSAT for the purpose of determining the student’s proficiency in the use of the English language. The GSAT score will also be the basis for being advised to take up or not to take up a bridge course which is Academic Reading and Writing;
4. A minimum of 12 to 18 (depending on the discipline) undergraduate units in which the applicant intends to do graduate studies if the Bachelor’s degree is not aligned;
5. International students are expected to have a sufficient knowledge of both written and spoken English to be able to do graduate level work; and
6. Physically and medically fit.

Local Students
1. Accomplished SDCA Graduate Studies Application Form
2. (Three (3) colored passport size ID pictures)
3. Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
4. Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (for married women)
5. Graduate School Admission Test Fee
6. Good Moral Certificate from previous school or Certificate of Employment
7. Original undergraduate and graduate transcript of records bearing the original signature of the registrar and school seal. Transcripts from the Philippine schools should bear the notation, “Copy Valid for St. Dominic College of Asia”
8. Certificate of Honorable Dismissal from last school attended
9. Three (3) Recommendation Letter/ Form
Additional Specific Admission Requirements
Foreign Students
1. Two (2) sets of Official Transcript of Records/Scholastic Records, duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy or Consulate in the applicant’s country of origin or legal residence. A “SEEN AND NOTED” stamp on transcript of records is not acceptable.
2. Two (2) sets of notarized Affidavit of Support and Proof of Adequate Financial Support to cover expenses for student’s accommodation and subsistence, school dues and other incidental expenses (Bank Statement).
3. Two (2) sets of photocopy of Passport where name, photo and birth date appear.
ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE
1. Initial Evaluation
Graduate studies applicants must fill out a Graduate Studies Application Form at the Admissions Office. Each filled-out Application Form should be accompanied by:
• 1 pc. colored passport size ID picture
• Birth Certificate (Photocopy)
• Graduate School Admission Test Fee (800PhP).
• Photocopy of undergraduate and graduate transcript of records
• Three (3) Recommendation Letters/ Form
2. Interview
All incoming students shall undergo interview with the Dean or the Program Chair
3. Entrance Examination
Students who successfully passed the interview shall be advised to take the GSAT (Graduate School Admission Test).
4. Submission of Requirements
After results verification, accepted applicants are required to submit the following admission credentials:
• Original undergraduate and graduate transcript of records bearing the original signature of the registrar and school seal. Transcripts from the Philippine schools should bear the notation, “Copy Valid for St. Dominic College of Asia”
• Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal
• Three (3) colored passport size ID pictures)
• (Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
• Photocopy of Marriage Certificate (for married women)
• Good Moral Certificate from previous school or employer
International students are required to submit the following for registration:
• For student visa holders – valid 9 (f) visa, passport and ACR I-Card
• For holders of other types of visa valid for enrollment – valid visa, passport, and ACR I-Card For dual citizens – Certificate of Recognition as Filipino Citizens or Philippine Passport.
• Holders of other visas valid for enrollment in the Philippines will have to submit the required admission documents to the Office of the Registrar at least two weeks before the start of registration.
• An International Student’s Fee is charged, every enrollment, in addition to the regular tuition and fees.
• International students who intend to temporarily leave the Philippines must apply for an Emigration Clearance Certificate and Special Return Certificate with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration if they wish to retain their student visas.
5. After satisfying the admission requirements, the student shall proceed as follows:
Students should complete the registration process to be considered officially enrolled. The complete registration process involves:
a. ADVISING
Graduate students shall proceed to the Office of the Dean for advising. The Dean of the Graduate School or the Program Chair shall advise the student on the subjects to be enrolled based on the subjects offered for the semester.
b. PAYMENT OF THE ASSESSED FEES
Students are considered officially enrolled once they have paid the assessed amount of tuition and fees and have been issued the Official Tuition Receipt of St. Dominic College of Asia. Only officially enrolled students are allowed to attend their classes. Students shall not be allowed to receive any degree, diploma, or certificate, nor be given a transcript of academic records, unless all financial obligations have been settled.
c. ISSUANCE OF REGISTRATION FORM
The Office of the Registrar shall issue a computerized enrollment form to the student.
d. ID APPLICATION/VALIDATION
A Student ID is issued by SDCA for the student to enter the campus premises and avail of student services. New students shall proceed to the MIS application. An old student should secure validation sticker from the Office of the Registrar.
