PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLO)

At the end of the program, the graduates are expected to:

  1. Explain the latest trends and concepts in adult health nursing, including innovative approaches to patient care, health promotion, and disease prevention within the adult population.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to critically think and formulate unique, evidence-based strategies for managing complex health issues in adult patients, integrating advanced clinical knowledge and patient-centered care practices.
  3. Implement a comprehensive nursing care plan for adult patients that incorporates all aspects of holistic care, aligned with the SDCA core values and the principles of quality life, ensuring a high standard of nursing practice and patient well-being.


PROGRAM EDUCATION OBJECTIVES (PEO)

Three (3) to five (5) years after graduation, the graduates are expected to exhibit:

  1. Conceptual – Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of adult health nursing theories, practices, and evidence-based approaches in the care of adult patients.
  2. Technical – Exhibit technical proficiency in utilizing advanced clinical skills, nursing interventions, and healthcare technologies to optimize patient outcomes in adult health nursing.
  3. Analytical – Display creativity and critical thinking in the assessment, planning, and implementation of comprehensive nursing care for adults, considering diverse health needs and complex clinical situations.
  4. Professional – Engage professionally and ethically in adult health nursing practice, upholding the highest standards of care, collaboration, and leadership within the healthcare community.
