The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program is a baccalaureate degree that is ever-evolving, dynamic, and rewarding that provides the students the chance to go to different tourism destinations, interact in a multicultural environment, and experience the world. This program offers practical and professional learning on the different pillars of tourism like tour and travel operations, transportation management, accommodation, food and beverage service management, leisure and recreation, tourism research, tourism planning, and other allied services.

The BSTM program will expose the students to heritage tourism, ecotourism, meeting and convention planning, resort management, and other aspects in the tourism management areas. Alongside the emergence of integrated resorts globally, the tourism industry opens its doors to other opportunities aside from being a flight attendant, tour specialist, travel advisor, and events planner.

PROGRAM LEARNING OUTCOMES (PLO)

  1. Organize tours, monitor sales, and facilitate effective tour guiding activities in compliance with tourism authority, standards, and procedures.

  2.  design marketing programs innovatively adhering to both national and international travel services standards.

  3.  execute events for the stakeholders. 

  4. demonstrate competence in communicating in English, both orally and in writing


PROGRAM EDUCATION OBJECTIVES (PEO)

Three to five years after graduation, the graduates of the BSTM program are expected to:

  1. Apply hospitality and tourism managerial skills in assessing relevant information needed for service operations.

  2. execute goal-oriented activities relevant to the program objectives.

  3. exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in English create harmonious relationships within and beyond the workplace environment demonstrate full ability to solve complex problems and resolve it creatively/efficiently
