Responsibilities
1. COMPLETES THE ANNUAL NURSING ASSESSMENT OF EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS AND
ASSISTS THE SCHOOL PHYSICIAN DURING PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS.
2. ACTS AS LIAISON TO STUDENTS IN COMMUNICATING WITH THEM THEIR HEALTH STATUS.
3. PROVIDES FIRST AID AND MAINTAINS THE WELL-BEING OF STUDENTS BY ADMINISTERING
MEDICATIONS AND TREATMENT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE SCHOOL PHYSICIAN.
4. MAINTAINS THE CLEANLINESS AND ORDERLINESS OF THE HEALTH SERVICES OFFICE.
5. ENSURES THAT THE HEALTH SERVICES HAS ENOUGH SUPPLY OF MEDICATION AND FIRST AID.
6. SAFE KEEPS THE MEDICAL HEALTH RECORD OF STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES.
7. PROMOTES AND ASSISTS IN THE CONTROL OF COMMUNICABLE DISEASES.
8. RECORDS IMMUNIZATIONS, HEALTH FINDINGS, AND OTHER RELEVANT HEALTH DATA.
9. PROVIDES ASSESSMENTS, PLANS, INTERVENTIONS, EVALUATIONS, MANAGEMENT, AND
REFERRAL FOR APPROPRIATE MEDICAL CARE OF STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES WITH
ACUTE/CHRONIC HEALTH CONDITIONS AND IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
10. COUNSEL STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES ABOUT CHRONIC ILLNESSES, NUTRITION, DISEASE
PREVENTION, AND POSITIVE LIFESTYLE.
11. ACT AS AN EMERGENCY MEDICAL TEAM DURING SCHOOL EVENTS.
12. PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES INCIDENTAL TO THE WORK DESCRIBED HEREIN OR AS MAY
DEEM NECESSARY BY THE IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR.
Requirements
PREFERABLY WITH SIX (6) MONTHS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE.
1. MUST BE A GRADUATE BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING.
2. MUST BE A REGISTERED NURSE (AS ISSUED BY THE PROFESSIONAL REGULATION COMMISSION
[PRC]).
