Supreme Student Council is Now YORP Registered

The Youth Organization Program (YORP) of the National Youth Commission (NYC), in a letter dated February 21, officially recognized the Supreme Student Council (SSC) of St. Dominic College Basic Education as a registered organization.

With this recognition, the SSC will have the privilege of being represented in congresses and activities that are exclusively available for YORP-registered organizations.

Benefits of SSC’s YORP Registration:

  • SSC officers will be prioritized in the selection of representatives for youth consultations, NYC-initiated activities, and international youth exchange programs.
  • Access to all training programs offered by the NYC, free of charge.
  • Eligibility to request promotion of organization-led programs, projects, and activities through the NYC’s official media outlets.

The Youth Organization Program (YORP) is a flagship initiative of the National Youth Commission (NYC) that facilitates the registration of youth and youth-serving organizations. Its goal is to ensure active participation and access to NYC-initiated programs nationwide.
