The Research Innovation and Development Enterprise (RIDE) of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) emerged as a winning team in the DOST-TECHGROW Season 2 Pitch Deck held on July 9, 2026.
DOST-TECHGROW is a capability-building program of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) that supports researchers and innovators in developing research outputs into market-ready products and solutions. The program provides participants with mentorship, commercialization training, and opportunities to establish connections with industry stakeholders.
As one of the winning teams, RIDE will participate in a three-month training program with Focal Labs, where the team will receive further guidance in developing and preparing its innovations for potential commercialization.
The program will also provide opportunities for participating teams to explore funding support and engage with potential investors as they advance their respective innovations.
RIDEs recognition in the DOST-TECHGROW Season 2 Pitch Deck provides SDCA with an opportunity to further develop its research and innovation initiatives and strengthen the connection between academic research, technology development, and potential applications in industry and society.
