St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) successfully underwent its ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit on March 4–5, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to quality management and continuous improvement in academic services. The audit focused on curriculum development and delivery, highlighting the college’s systematic approach to ensuring relevant, responsive, and outcomes-based education.
The recertification audit was conducted by TÜV NORD Philippines, led by Audit Team Lead Axly Rose Florentino, with team members Amelita Lilibeth Cruz and Jocelyn Magat. They carried out a comprehensive evaluation of SDCA’s quality management system and institutional processes.
Throughout the two-day visit, the auditors reviewed institutional documents, conducted interviews with key officials and personnel, and assessed processes related to curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation. The audit provided an opportunity for SDCA to demonstrate its adherence to international quality standards and its ongoing efforts to enhance academic delivery and operational efficiency.
Following the evaluation, the audit team recommended SDCA for ISO 9001:2015 recertification, valid until October 2026, subject to the completion of necessary certification processes. This recommendation affirms that the institution’s quality management system continues to meet the rigorous requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
SDCA President Gregorio A. Andaman Jr. expressed gratitude to the audit team and the SDCA community for their collective efforts in sustaining a culture of quality and accountability. He emphasized that the recommendation reflects the institution’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and maintaining systems that support academic excellence and institutional effectiveness.
The successful audit underscores SDCA’s dedication to upholding internationally recognized standards while continuously strengthening its curriculum and learning processes to better serve students and stakeholders.
