News Published on: October 10, 2026

St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) presented a proposed Academic and Professional Development Partnership to the City Government of Bacoor during a meeting held on September 24, 2026, at the Office of the Mayor.

The SDCA delegation, led by Dr. Greg Jinichi M. Andaman, Director of the Institute for Professional Education and Development (IPED), met with Bacoor City Mayor Strike B. Revilla to discuss opportunities for expanding access to graduate education among city government personnel. Also present during the meeting was Ms. Natividad Ludwig Ople, Head of the Human Resources Development Management Department (HRDMD).

At the center of the discussion was SDCAs proposal to make its graduate programs more accessible to employees across the city governments departments and units.

The proposed arrangement includes flexible class schedules and Online Distance Learning (ODeL) options, allowing government personnel to pursue advanced studies alongside their professional responsibilities.

The proposed academic offerings cover several fields, including Business Administration, Information Technology, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, International Hospitality Management, Nursing, and English Language Teaching, as well as doctoral programs in Business Administration and Psychology. Flexible ODeL academic tracks were also presented as part of the proposed learning pathways for government personnel.

The initiative reflects a shared direction toward continuing education and professional development in public service. Through the proposed partnership, SDCA seeks to provide accessible opportunities for advanced learning that can support the professional growth of Bacoor City Government personnel and strengthen their capacity to serve the community.

The September 24 meeting serves as an initial step toward a potential academic partnership between SDCA and the City Government of Bacoor, with further discussions expected to define the scope and implementation of the proposed programs.
