St. Dominic College of Asia officially joined the opening ceremony of the Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA) Season 17 held on October 30, 2025, at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City. With this year’s theme, “One Team, One Dream,” the event brought together participating schools for a new season of athletic competition.

The ceremony began with a solemn doxology performed by Coro Dominicano, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem led by Dominican students, Ms. Ryza Angel E. Quindara and Josh M. Paredes. The venue was filled with cheers and excitement as performances from the participating schools energized the crowd.

One of the highlights of the day was the Parade of Athletes, where the SDCA Pikemen proudly represented the Dominican community alongside Ms. SDCA Representative, Patricia Ermino and the official school mascot, Nico Dominic.

Ms. Patricia Ermino also brought pride to the Dominican community as she was crowned Ms. ISAA 2025, marking the second consecutive year that St. Dominic College of Asia has earned the title. Her achievement reflected not only her personal growth and determination but also the institution’s commitment to developing confidence and character among its students.

Following the opening ceremony, the SDCA Pikemen took to the court for their first game of the season against the WCC-ATC Skyhawks. Displaying teamwork, discipline, and resilience, the Pikemen secured their first victory with a 59–52 win, signaling a promising start to their ISAA Season 17 campaign.

As the new season unfolds, the Dominican community continues to support the SDCA Pikemen.
