Students of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) are encouraged to take part in the International Students Engagement and Exploration Program (ISEEP) 2026, an international mobility initiative that will bring Dominican learners to Takayama City, Japan, in November 2026.
Organized by the Institutional Mobility Office under the Institutional Linkages and Networking Office, the program aims to provide students with transformative global learning experiences through academic, professional, and cultural engagement. The initiative reflects SDCA's continuing commitment to internationalization and its mission of developing globally competent and culturally responsive graduates.
The ISEEP 2026 program will offer participants opportunities to engage in international research presentations, program-related facility and industry immersions, and cultural immersion activities and city tours in one of Japan's renowned heritage cities. Through these activities, students are expected to broaden their academic perspectives, gain international exposure, and develop a deeper appreciation of diverse cultures and global professional practices.
Prof. Cornelio P. Aguilar Jr., Institutional Mobility Officer, emphasized the value of international experiences in preparing students for an increasingly interconnected world. Programs such as ISEEP provide students with opportunities to expand their horizons, build international networks, and develop the competencies necessary to thrive in the global community, he said.
The program package includes round-trip airfare and international travel tax, Japan visa application fees, health and travel insurance, hotel accommodations and meals, local transportation arrangements, city tour entrance fees, professional tour guide services, document processing fees, and certificates of participation.
he proposed international engagement further strengthens SDCA's efforts to provide students with meaningful global opportunities and experiential learning beyond the classroom. It also aligns with the College's strategic thrust toward enhancing international mobility, fostering intercultural understanding, and preparing Dominican learners to become future-ready professionals and global citizens.
