Students from the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science program of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) achieved outstanding results during the PHISMETS South Luzon MLS Days 2025 held from October 3 to 5, 2025. The three-day event gathered Medical Laboratory Science students from various colleges and universities in South Luzon for competitions and learning activities aimed at strengthening academic excellence and professional growth in the field.
SDCA representatives delivered commendable performances across multiple events, capturing the championship title in the Brain Battle, as well as first place finishes in the Lab War: Valorant Tournament and Scrub and Co. Cosplay Competition. These achievements reflected the students’ proficiency, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the Medical Laboratory Science profession.
On the final day, the seminar segment featured discussions on leadership and professional values. Among the speakers was Prof. Jonathan V. Sta. Ana, Director for Administration Support System of SDCA, who shared his insights on leadership grounded in integrity and purpose.
The PHISMETS South Luzon MLS Days 2025 served as a platform for students to connect, learn, and demonstrate their skills, further strengthening collaboration among Medical Laboratory Science institutions in the region.
