St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) continues to uphold its reputation for academic excellence as its School of Health and Sciences Professionals (SHSP) produces newly Registered Pharmacists (RPh), achieving an above-national passing rate in the April 2022 Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE) for the fourth consecutive year.
Despite the challenges brought about by unconventional learning methods during the pandemic, SDCA has remained steadfast in delivering high-quality education and preparing students for success in their professional careers. This commitment has been exemplified by the following SDCA first-time takers who successfully passed the PhLE:
- Anthonette E. Luceño, RPh
- Catherine R. Solinap, RPh
- Mary Donna Vel R. Rubio, RPh
- Trixie Mae J. Quiron, RPh
- Esther Phoebe C. Ogbonna, RPh
- Angelica C. Cas, RPh
Dr. Joel G. Matamis, Dean of SHSP, emphasized the importance of early preparation in achieving this consistent success, stating, "I've always considered that the great preparations we've been doing since the beginning are the most crucial. Preparing the students from the start of their academic journey is one of the keys towards this success."
SDCA continues to prove its dedication to shaping future healthcare professionals by providing comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and a strong academic foundation. With its commitment to excellence, the institution remains a key player in producing top-performing medical professionals.
