St. Dominic College of Asia celebrated its 19th Founding Anniversary from November 25 to November 28, 2022. After two years of virtual celebrations, the SDCA community was finally able to gather again at the SDCA campus for a memorable and exciting week-long event.
Students from Basic Education to Higher Education participated in various activities, including competitions, booths, and variety shows, making the celebration lively and engaging.
One of the major highlights of the event was the Exhibition Game between alumni and the new Dominican Pikemen. The Skyline Gymnasium was filled with energy as students cheered for both teams as they competed against each other.
The SDCA Board of Trustees convened at One Asia Heritage for the launch of the Founders’ Corner, dedicated to Don Gregorio and Doña Dominga Anico Andaman, on November 28. This marker will serve as a tribute to the institution’s founders and will be fully unveiled during SDCA’s 20th Founding Anniversary.
TUV Nord Philippines also joined the celebration by presenting the ISO 9001:2015 certification to the SDCA community, recognizing its excellence in quality management systems. This certification followed the institution’s successful Level 1 and Level 2 evaluation visits last October 2022.
Additionally, PACUCOA certificates were awarded to various SDCA programs, acknowledging their successful completion of accreditation requirements set by PACUCOA evaluators.
The celebration culminated with the Grand Coronation of Mr. and Ms. SDCA from the Higher Education department, where Mr. Nursing and Ms. Accountancy were crowned as the winners.
