St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) held its Education Program Pinning Ceremony on October 5, 2026, in observance of World Teachers Day and as part of the academic formation of its Education students.

The ceremony formally recognized students who have reached an important stage in their preparation for the teaching profession. The pinning signifies their progression in the program and the responsibilities associated with becoming future educators.

As part of their professional preparation, Education students undergo academic and practical training designed to develop competencies in instruction, classroom management, learner development, and professional practice. The ceremony serves as an institutional recognition of their continued advancement toward these responsibilities.

Holding the event on World Teachers Day also highlighted the connection between teacher education and the professional responsibilities that students will eventually assume. It provided an appropriate occasion to recognize both practicing educators and those currently preparing to enter the profession.

The Education Program Pinning Ceremony forms part of SDCAs continuing efforts to prepare future educators with the knowledge, competencies, and professional values necessary to serve learners and contribute to the education sector.
