Last May 19-22, 2026, Students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) programs of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) participated in an International Student Mobility Program held in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.
The program provided students with opportunities to gain academic, industry, and cultural exposure outside the Philippines through a combination of educational activities, institutional visits, and cultural experiences.
Among the activities was an industry visit to High Great, a Chinese drone technology company known for its large-scale drone performances and recognized by Guinness World Records. The visit introduced students to developments in drone technology and provided an opportunity to observe applications of technology in an industry setting.
The students also participated in a research presentation at Shenzhen City Polytechnic, where they presented their academic work and engaged in an international academic environment. The activity provided opportunities for knowledge exchange and interaction with students and educators from another institution.
The mobility program also included cultural activities, including a visit to Hong Kong Disneyland, allowing participants to experience local attractions and further engage with the culture and environment of the host locations.
