St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) achieved a high passing rate in the March 2018 board examinations, as per the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Medical Technology
SDCA posted a significant increase in its passing rate for the March 2018 Licensure Examinations for BS Medical Technology. The exam was conducted on March 14 & 15. The college’s passing rate rose to 92.86% from 62.50% in the August 2017 boards. Additionally, first-time takers achieved a 100% passing rate. Nationally, 2,648 out of 3,644 examinees passed the March 2018 MedTech Licensure Exam.
Pharmacy
SDCA’s passing rate for the March 2018 Pharmacy Licensure Examination also improved to 72.22%, with 13 out of 18 examinees successfully passing the test, which was conducted on March 7 & 8. First-time takers showed promising results with a 61.54% passing rate, as eight Dominican examinees passed on their first attempt.
The national passing rate for the Pharmacy Licensure Exam was recorded at 55.77%, with 1,695 passers out of 3,039 examinees. The results were released two working days after the final examination day.
