St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) has once again demonstrated its academic excellence as it achieved a 100% passing rate in the January 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that out of 15,696 elementary teacher examinees, only 8,737 (55.66%) successfully passed, while for the secondary level, 12,074 out of 22,454 (53.77%) passed the licensure exam. Amid these passing rates, SDCA once again achieved a perfect 100% passing rate, showcasing the institution’s commitment to quality education.

Three Dominican graduates successfully passed the LET and are now Licensed Professional Teachers (LPTs):

  • Krisha Camille T. Alvarado, LPT
  • Athena Jann R. Matito, LPT
  • John Kenneth P. Bautista, LPT

Dr. Philip C. Cuizon, Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE), expressed his pride in this achievement, stating, "I have no doubt that our SASE students will excel in their professional careers. Here at SASE, we provide them with the best education that prepares them for life ahead as Dominican professional teachers, psychologists, psychometricians, and communication leaders."

This milestone solidifies SDCA’s reputation as a leading institution that continuously pursues excellence, trains students rigorously, and prepares them to become competent and successful professionals. By consistently achieving outstanding board exam results, SDCA further proves its commitment to revolutionizing education and shaping the future of its students.
