SDCA and HCT Academy Strengthen Partnership in VR and Simulation-Based Healthcare Education
St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) and Healthcare and Technology Academy (HCT) formalized their partnership on August 20, 2026, through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at St. Dominic College of Asia in Bacoor City, Cavite. The partnership focuses on advancing Virtual Reality (VR) and simulation-based education in healthcare.
The collaboration brings together SDCAs academic foundation in nursing and allied health education and HCTs expertise in healthcare simulation, emerging technologies, and innovative learning solutions. HCT is an INACSL-endorsed organization, reflecting its commitment to recognized international standards and best practices in healthcare simulation.
Through this partnership, both institutions seek to provide students and educators with immersive, technology-enabled learning experiences that complement classroom instruction and strengthen preparation for professional practice.
A key focus of the collaboration is the integration of VR and simulation-based learning into appropriate academic and training activities.
