While other students watch from the shore, St. Dominic College of Asia's School of International Hospitality, Tourism, and Management students are aboard their International Cruise Tour Immersion Program in partnership with Star Cruises by Resorts World, navigating Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. This is not a field trip. This is a world-class, floating laboratory in motion.
From airport to open water, our 65 student participants dive deep into real shipboard operations: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Bar Service, Guest Relations, Laundry, Deck Safety, Recreation, and Events Management. They don't just read about excellence, they deliver it hands-on alongside Star Cruises crew members.
But the learning doesn't stop at the gangway. Beyond the ship, our students engage in cultural immersions, present international research, and compete in global skills competitionsbuilding the confidence and competence that employers demand.
