Our BS Medical Technology, BS Pharmacy, BS Information Technology and BS Hospitality Management and Tourism Management students participated in SDCA's international mobility program in Taiwan from April 15 to April 19, 2024. During their visit, the students experienced cultural immersion, presented their research, and signed a memorandum of understanding between National Chi Nan University and St. Dominic College of Asia.


Transforming Futures: SDCA's Dynamic International Mobility Program in Taiwan for Skill Building and Global Partnerships"

The SDCA's international mobility program in Taiwan from April 15 to April 19, 2024, marked a significant milestone in fostering global partnerships and enriching student experiences. Dr. Greg Jinichi M. Andaman, Vice President for External Affairs, along with Dr. Jennifer Y. Yap, Dean of the School of International Hospitality, Tourism, and Management, and Dr. Joel G. Matamis, Dean of the School of Medical Laboratory Science, along with several faculty members, formalized Certificates of Partnerships with well-known institutions such as ACER Taiwan, National Taiwan University Hospital, and National Chi Nan University. The Tourism and Hospitality Management students also had a 5 star hotel immersion with the Taipei Garden Hotel. SDCA then signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The National Chi Nan University.

Through these partnerships, Dominicans are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in diverse industry settings, thereby expanding their skills, perspectives, and professional opportunities.


On April 16, 2024, our students from BS Medical Laboratory Science, BS Pharmacy, BS Information Technology, BS Hospitality Management, and BS Tourism Management had the remarkable opportunity to present their insightful research. This was part of the International Student Mobility Program of St. Dominic College of Asia.Our Dominican students from BS Information Technology, BS Medical Technology, and BS Tourism Management presented their research papers and emerged as winners in the following categories:
