News Published on: April 29, 2026

Third-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) presented their capstone projects during IOEnnovate 2026, held on April 29 to 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the GD2 Hallway.

The exhibit featured a range of student-developed systems centered on Internet of Things (IoT) applications. These projects were designed and built by students as part of their academic requirements, demonstrating the integration of technical knowledge, design thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Among the projects showcased were Flexpark, NutriAI Food Tracking, grAIn, PadoLock, Arise Room Placard Scanner, DC Space, Stylehair, DomStax, tRoot, RFID Asset Tracker, C.A.R.E., Smart Medication Reminder, NaviGuard, Klir Smart Toilet, HushMap, Alerto, Aegis Dry, LitterSense, DominiFinds, iRoomReserve, GlycoPlate, Dom-E, and FitScan. Each system addressed specific real-world concerns, including automation, monitoring, health management, and smart environment solutions.

The event allowed attendees to engage directly with the projects through live demonstrations, providing insight into how the systems function and how they were developed. Students also presented the concepts behind their work, explaining the design process, technologies used, and intended applications of their prototypes.

IOEnnovate 2026 served as a platform for students to present their technical outputs and highlight the practical application of their learning in the field of information technology.
