AUN-QA Certifies Four SDCA Academic Programs

Four academic programs of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) have earned ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certification, following their successful participation in the AUN-QA Program Assessment.

The recognition places the four programs among SDCAs academic offerings that have undergone external quality evaluation through the regional AUN-QA framework. The assessment examined the programs academic structures, implementation, resources, and mechanisms for maintaining and improving educational quality.

Among the areas considered were curriculum development, teaching and learning, student support, faculty and academic resources, and program outcomes. These areas provide a comprehensive view of how an academic program is managed and delivered to students.

For SDCA, the certification provides an external benchmark for its academic programs and contributes to the institutions continuing quality assurance work. It also strengthens the schools participation in regional higher education quality assurance initiatives.

The achievement adds another milestone to SDCAs academic quality assurance efforts, with four programs now having completed the AUN-QA assessment and received certification under the framework.
