St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) has entered into a partnership with the Department of Science and Technology–CALABARZON (DOST–CALABARZON) to expand opportunities in research, training, and innovation. This collaboration aims to bridge classroom learning with real-world applications, giving Dominican students more opportunities to excel beyond academics.
Through this partnership, SDCA students and faculty will have access to:
- Research projects that address local and regional needs
- Grants and funding support for innovative initiatives
- Seminars and workshops led by experts in science and technology
- Community programs that connect academic knowledge with social impact
The partnership was officially formalized by Dr. Gregorio A. Andaman Jr., President of SDCA, and Dir. Emelita P. Bagsit, Regional Director of DOST–CALABARZON. Also present were Ms. Gilda S. De Jesus, Provincial S&T Director of DOST PSTO Cavite, and Dr. Wendell L. Galapate of SDCA’s RIDE Center, who served as witnesses to the signing.
