The DRA Hall of St. Dominic College of Asia (SDCA) became a venue of elegance, inspiration, and purpose as it hosted 18 delegates of Miss Earth: The Silver Lining 2025 for their Campus Tour and Talent Competition.
Held on October 23, the event formed part of the Miss Earth 2025 pre-pageant activities that advocate for environmental awareness and sustainability. The 18 international delegates graced the SDCA campus to present their advocacies, interact with students, and share their vision for a greener and more united world.
During the interactive session, SDCA students engaged with the delegates by asking questions about their environmental causes, personal journeys, and their experiences as ambassadors of the Earth. The exchange highlighted shared values of compassion, awareness, and global responsibility between the Miss Earth organization and SDCA.
The Talent Competition became the highlight of the day, showcasing the delegates’ creativity and advocacy through performances in singing, dancing, poetry, painting, and public speaking.
Earning top distinctions were:
- Czech Republic – Gold Medal for her moving Filipino poem promoting unity in caring for the environment
Hong Kong – Silver Medal for her expressive and symbolic dance performance
Armenia – Bronze Medal for her heartfelt rendition of the “Cup Song,” symbolizing harmony between humanity and nature
The event concluded with a message of hope and empowerment, encouraging the Dominican community to continue supporting sustainable initiatives and environmental stewardship.
Through this collaboration, St. Dominic College of Asia reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education, developing not only academic excellence but also compassion, social awareness, and a deep respect for the planet.
