BA Comm seals partnership with TIIKM, Sri Lanka

News Published on: August 5, 2025

The BA Communication program of St. Dominic College of Asia and The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka, has officially entered a partnership for two international conferences for 2025 and 2026.

SDCA BA Comm will be the official academic partner of TIIKM for the 5th International Conference on Media Studies and Digital Communication Conference 2025 (MSDC) and 11th World Conference on Media and Mass Communication (MEDCOM) 2026.

As an academic partner, SDCA will play a key role in promoting research collaboration, student and faculty participation, and knowledge exchange in the fields of media, communication, and digital studies. This strategic alliance underscores SDCA's commitment to advancing global academic discourse and empowering its communication students with real-world platforms for engagement.

Through the partnership, BA Communication faculty members and students will have exclusive opportunities to present research papers, participate in panel discussions, and collaborate with global experts. The collaboration also paves the way for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals, expanding the international visibility of SDCA’s scholarly work.

Dr. Richardson Mojica, BA Comm Program Chair, emphasized that this milestone affirms SDCA’s growing presence in international academic circles: “This partnership with TIIKM aligns with our mission to foster global competencies, elevate research culture, and showcase the talents of our BA Communication community.”

This partnership is part of the BA Comm program’s broader initiative to internationalize its curriculum, establish global linkages, and empower students as creators, storytellers, and scholars on the world stage.

MSDC will take place on November 20-21, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand, while MEDCOM will be on March 23-24, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia.
