As their Bachelor of Arts in Communication program goes international as they proudly presented their research papers during the 28th Annual Asian Media and Information Communication Center (AMIC) International Conference with the theme of "Science Communication: Managing the Now and the Future" held on November 20, 27, and December 4, 2021, in Hanoi, Vietnam via Zoom meeting.

“Nerve-racking, but ecstatic first time experience." That is how fourth year BA Communication student John Kenneth Talania described his experience presenting their research paper titled "Virtual Senses: Active Cameras in Improving Online Learning Experience of SDCA School of Arts, Sciences and Education Students" to the international audience. Their adviser and also the BA Communication Program Chair, Dr. Ricardson Mojica, not only supported his students but also presented his research paper titled "Analysis on the Reporting of Suicide Cases on Selected Online News Websites"

The Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC) is an international, non-profit, non-government organization that serves as a regional research hub for media and communication issues.

"As I was presenting our paper, I had this realization that I'm not only representing SDCA, but also the whole country, in a way, and myself. I'm not the most intelligent or hardworking type of student, but I think I still did the best that I can give," Talania said after successfully presenting their research paper, which inspired fellow communication students and the students from other courses.

SDCA proved once again their excellence in providing quality education by making not only their students but also their faculty members globally competitive and well equipped to face every opportunity that may come their way.
